Of course a lot of credit, if not all of it, has to go to the fantastic cast this movie has put together. Paul Rudd and Jason Segal are of course hilarious in the lead roles and play perfect off of each other. I'm not really sure how much was scripted and how much was improvised but it's all solid, funny stuff.
The supporting cast does a great job too, although I felt that a lot of them were very underused. Jane Curtain and J.K. Simmons were great as the parents but it's really too bad that they only have a couple of scenes. Andy Samberg also was good, but again, not around a whole lot. Jon Favreau is of course always funny and this is no exception. It's also cool to see Jaime Pressly since I don't even remember the last time I saw her in a movie.
A huge standout for me amongst the supporting cast was Rashida Jones as Rudd's fiancee. This was the character that would have been the easiest to screw up. They didn't though. They managed to make her a very likable character whose motivations make total sense and is a character you root for. You want Rudd to end up with her because you want her to be happy. That's pretty rare.
There's not much else to say other than this was a very funny movie that will hold up to repeat viewings. Check it out.
8/10
