Anyway, the movie is of course, really bad. The first half hour is just people on a beach dancing. It's like that Batwoman movie, but at least that was amusing because it didn't make any god damn sense. Here it makes a little more sense, it's just stupid. I wonder if beaches were really like this in the 50's? The movies sure want to make us think so. If they were, it's officially my first stop once my time machine is ready.
Monsters then show up, I forget why. I do remember that they look friggin' hilarious though. They also move in a way that would make it impossible not to get away from them, and yet everybody always gets caught and killed.
Aside from the monsters themselves, the movie itself doesn't lend itself to being made fun of as easily as you would expect it to. Thankfully it's on a program that specializes in that and again, much of the funniest stuff comes from how random their comments are. The funniest stuff happens in the beginning and the end, with a wee bit of a lull in the middle.
