What the movie really is is Santa going into space, and telling corny jokes and using love to win over a bunch of martians. Yep. Way to fuck up that amazing title guys. You could have done something great here, but instead we get this. This movie is renowned for being a terrible terrible piece of terrible and it's very easy to see where that reputation comes from.
The humour in this movie is so bad it makes doves or angels kill themselves. Let me give you an example. The wording here may not be exact but it's close enough to at least give you an idea.
Q - What's green and can be roasted over a fire?
A - A martian-mellow
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH FUCK! And the characters laugh like it's the funniest shit they have ever heard. That's just the beginning of it though. There are a whole bunch of jokes that are equally as bad.
There is a really terrible looking polar bear attack though where I'm pretty damn sure you can see the actor underneath the fake bear suit. That's almost immediately followed by a robot attack that looks just as bad. These 5 minutes were quite incredible.
The movie is pretty insane, but awful. It could have been so much more. They should have gone for an R rating or something. As is, terrible. Good episode though.
